DICKINSON COUNTY, MICH. — Circle Power, the company developing Groveland Mine Solar, is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to meet a pressing challenge at North Dickinson County School: replacing the school music program’s aging electric piano.

The program enriches the entire student body through elementary music classes, high school band, and choir, and community events. The current piano has been in service for about 30 years and has deteriorating keys that impact the instrument’s consistency.

Circle Power presented a check for the $5,000 donation, which will contribute half of the total $10,000 cost of replacing the piano. The donation is part of Circle Power’s ongoing commitment to local partnerships connected to its Groveland Mine Solar project.

“Circle Power is proud to support students and educators in central Dickinson County,” said Jordan Roberts, Circle Power CEO. “We hope this donation enables the school to continue providing a well-rounded curriculum for future generations of Nordics.”

“We are grateful for Circle Power’s generous support,” said David Florenski, Superintendent of North Dickinson County School. “North Dickinson has always maximized its resources to provide strong education opportunities for our community. This piano is an investment in continuing the strong tradition of music education that will impact generations of students.”
